One of the members of the United States Marine Corps special unit is an agent named Sam working for the US government, played by the player. Equipped with an ultra-modern Augmented Reaction Suit that provides superhuman strength and speed, it is designed to fend off enemy forces using a whole arsenal of weapons - including your own hand-to-hand combat skills.<br /> <br /> <strong>Gameplay</strong><br /> In terms of mechanics, Vanquish is an extremely dynamic and effective third-person shooter, in which the gameplay is based on numerous clashes with Russian military units. While playing, we can also interact with various objects, opening doors or activating elevators and other mechanisms. In addition to the above-mentioned suit, our protagonist is able to carry three weapons at the same time, and additionally keep grenades and explosives in his pocket. During the skirmishes, the cover system also turns out to be useful, thanks to which the walls of buildings, vehicles or other larger objects can serve as a natural cover (although some of them, due to prolonged fire, can also be completely destroyed). In addition, the game uses the well-known, among others from the Call of Duty series, a self-healing health system.
