You must solve puzzles and face monsters as you struggle to climb to the top of this beautiful, yet treacherous environment, driven by the will to find your freedom.<br /> <br /> <strong>Gameplay</strong><br /> We play the role of a young princess trapped in a mighty tower. Our task is to allow the heroine to escape from this place. At the same time, during the campaign, the story of a lonely knight traversing a desert land on his way to the same tower is also told. The whole plot is built around a long poem and the gameplay deals with serious topics, such as searching for the meaning of life or the inexorable passage of time. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Toren is a relatively standard action adventure game, in the style known from ICO or The Legend of Zelda series . While playing, we mainly explore locations and solve puzzles. There are also numerous arcade elements - getting to many places requires the player to have typical platform skills, and during the campaign we are forced to fight from time to time.
