<p><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The Escapists 2 is a continuation of The Escapists released in 2015 by Moldy Toof studio. The publishing side of the project was taken over by Team 17 Software, known primarily from the Worms series.<br /> <br /> <strong>Multiple gameplay possibilities</strong><br /> The Escapists 2 does not turn the formula developed in one upside down. So it is an arcade 2D adventure game with logic and RPG elements. Players take on the role of convicts imprisoned in well-guarded prisons.<br /> Our task is to work out the system and escape. Of course, this only sounds simple - under the guise of leading a normal, prison life, we have to collect items from which we can create tools needed for the escape, look for allies among other inmates, etc.<br /> Several improvements have been made since the first installment. There were, among others new opportunities for spending free time, which are not lacking in prison. The players can, for example, join a music band or learn to paint.<br /> <br /> In addition, the developers of The Escapists 2 have introduced additional items that can be crafted from the obtained elements. There are also new ways to escape. Since prisons are now multi-level, you can get out of the upper floor by tying the sheets together so that you can exit unnoticed through the window. In addition, the combat system has been changed. Players can block blows and perform strong and weak attacks. All this is completed with smaller tweaks, including more options to customize your characters.<br /> <br /> <strong>Sequel of one of the bestsellers</strong><br /> Soon after the first edition was published, only the Steam platform announced a million of sold copies. This encouraged the indie developer to cooperate with the Team17 studio (best known for Worms series) and work on the additions, as well as subsequent versions of the game. Apart from the brand new ways to escape from multi-level prisons or a revamped combat system, The Escapists 2 release brings in a new multiplayer drop-in/drop-out mode.<br /> <br /> Join your friends and play together, with or against each other, testing different game scenarios. The multiplayer gameplay is available for up to 4 players, who compete in an online or local rivalry.
