<div>Final Fantasy VI is the next installment of the cult Japanese RPG series, initiated and developed by Square Soft studio in the late 1980s. The game was originally released on Super Nintendo Entertainment System consoles in 1994, but five years later its conversion to PlayStation was also prepared. Interestingly, due to the fact that the first three parts of the series have been released so far only in their native Japan, the game is known in the USA as Final Fantasy III.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<strong>Story</strong><br> Unlike the previous installments of the series, Final Fantasy VI is set in a world that combines elements of fantasy and steampunk. The plot of the game focuses on the conflict between the Empire, which is conquering the world, and the rebel faction of rebels who call themselves Returners. The strength of the Empire's army was built largely on the so-called Esperach - that is, magical, semi-divine beings and the experiments carried out on them. To level the playing field in this unequal battle, the Returners also roam the world in search of an equally powerful magical power. For both sides of the conflict, the key to understanding the essence of magic and the Espers turns out to be Terra Branford, who suffers from amnesia - a former member of the Empire's army.<br> <br> <strong>Choose your character!</strong><br> For the first time in the history of the Final Fantasy series, players can choose which hero from their team is going to be the protagonist of their game. You are not bound to the pre-selected arrangement. Moreover, the plot of the game has been designed in such a way that no matter who you would decide to be the main hero of your story, the fate of all the members of the team is intertwined.
