<p><span style="font-size:12px">Far Cry 3 is the third instalment of the popular series of first-person shooters, in which we travel through the open world and take part in various clashes with groups of intelligent enemies. As in the case of the second part, Ubisoft Montreal is responsible for the production, although this time he was also helped by Ubisoft Shanghai, Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft Reflections.<br /> <br /> Far Cry 3 is a first person shooter. So we spend most of our time eliminating enemies with all available methods. What makes this game different from most competitive FPS games is the freedom of action. The levels are usually open and allow players to choose their own tactics. It is possible to kill enemies silently, as well as play in the Rambo style, where with a shout on our lips and a rifle in our hands, we fall into the very center of the enemy&#39;s camp. An interesting element is also the simplified RPG system. For progress in the campaign, we are rewarded with experience points, for which we then buy new skills, assigned to three development paths: heron, spider and shark. Each of them rewards a different style of eliminating enemies and facilitates the exploration of the archipelago.<br /> <br /> An addition to the solo campaign is multiplayer, for which Ubisoft Massive, a Swedish studio known for great real-time strategies (eg Ground Control, World in Conflict), is responsible. The producer focused on easy-to-understand gameplay, scenarios requiring specific goals and an extensive development system. In one of the game modes, each team has to set the opponent&#39;s resources on fire, which completely changes the situation on the battlefield. An interesting supplement is also a cooperative mini-campaign, where up to four players try to survive 6 linear missions of increasing difficulty.<br /> <br /> <strong>Story summary</strong><br /> Players take on the role of Jason Brody, whose vacation was brutally interrupted and, as a result of an unfortunate parachute jump, lands on an island dominated by psychopathic pirates. Worse, a group of his friends remain in captivity, and everywhere around them unscrupulous and mentally unstable killers. To save his loved ones and get out of this cursed place, Jason will have to learn to kill quickly.<br /> <br /> <strong>Reception</strong><br /> Far Cry 3 for PC received nearly universal acclaim from both the critics and players alike. The game&rsquo;s open world filled with a ton of activity was considered one of the strengths of the game. Reviewers noted how well the game blended the stealth and action elements, providing the player with a choice of how they want to approach the gameplay. Combined with a multitude of side missions and other activities, the third instalment of the cult series was considered as a new standard of the genre.
