<div>Crysis Trilogy includes a pack of additions to one of the most popular alien-themed shooters<br>&nbsp; <br>&nbsp;One of the greatest advantages of the game is the area where our adventures take place, i.e. an island with a varied topography and lush vegetation. Thanks to the CryEngine 2 engine, the authors managed to avoid restricting the player with invisible walls or obstacles. However, each game mission is played on a separate map. The whole thing was made in an impressive visual setting (DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 support) and a lot of effort was put into making the environment fully interactive - every element can be moved and destroyed. The position of the sun changes dynamically from sunrise at dawn to sunset at dusk, clouds and large rocks cast shadows appropriate to the time of day, etc.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;The gameplay itself has also been expanded in relation to Far Cry. Our hero does not move alone all the time. Sometimes his colleagues from the ward also support him. It is true that we have no direct influence on their behavior (i.e. we cannot give orders), but Crytek has developed complex artificial intelligence procedures that govern them. Both Nomad and the rest of the soldiers use a whole range of futuristic gadgets. In this case, the Nano-suit deserves special attention, thanks to which we are able not only to survive in a very unfavorable environment (e.g. at low temperature), but also activate additional skills - we jump to high heights, increase the strength of the hits, we activate tactical camouflage whether we are moving faster on the map. In addition, we can attach various components to the weapons used - silencers, scopes or laser sights. We use vehicles and boats to explore the surroundings faster. One of the missions is also played in the skies. We then steer a futuristic VTOL plane.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<strong>An epic story of alien invasion</strong><br> The plot of Crysis Trilogy is set in a not too distant future, where Earth has fallen under the control of alien invaders known as the Ceph. In the original Crysis, the player character is a member of an elite US special forces' Raptor Team, sent to investigate illegal North Korean activity on a Pacific island. There, the player discovers and engages the invading aliens. The following installments build on the story, presenting the Earth's resistance against the Ceph.<br>&nbsp; <br> Throughout the series, the player controls various characters, including Nomad, Psycho, and Prophet – members of the Raptor Team – as well as Alcatraz, a U.S. Marine saved from death by Prophet.
